Personality: Mai is a very hard working student that always tries to accomplish 100% in everything she does,
she's very kind and open hearted, but also stubborn and a bit childish.
when Mai gets mad your not safe unless your fire proof.
She loves to sing and we always be found at a karaoke bar when shes free, she also enjoys cooking and is quite good at it, especially Ramen (Japanese noodles).
she hates spiders, and perverts.
she hides her sadness behind a bright smile everyday.
History:
when she was little her mother took her and her younger brother to a park she then set off to buy some drinks, now Mai was more interested in playing with her friend than looking after her brother, she went off to play while her brother wanted to take a dip in the river. when Mai returned she found her mother and brother completely drenched lying on the bank of the river nearly half dead...her brother survived but she lost her mother, ever since she's been over protective of her brother and works hard to be a good role model for him.

Mai then moved to the Fuuka Academy in Japan, and discovered that she was a HiME(Hilghly-advanced Materialzing Engineer) which allows her to summon a fire dragon Called Kagutsuchi (ka-goot-s-chi) and her own unique weapon (bangles round her wrist which that produces flames).

(writing what happened at the academy will take tooooo long I'm skipping)

Finally she transfered to Donum Liberi in hopes to grow stronger with magic
