Antique. Modern. And Covered In Dust.

Alyss walked into the shop and a tinkiling bell voiced her arrival. Taking in a deep breath of the shops musty air she set about finding what she needed from the tall shelves that covered every angle of the walls. Her pale fingertips brushed against statues covered with a layer of warming dust and books that looked most certainly priceless. In contrast she could see out the corner of her eye the latest fashion clothes displayed in antique wardrobes for anyone to look at, and purcahse.

It was certainly no small shop, looking further in it seemed to stretch on for infinity, and she didn't doubt that it most probably stocked anything you would ever dream of looking for in any shop. She laughed lightly and wondered how she would ever find anything.

As Sasoriza entered the shop a bell above the door announced her coming. It was a comforting sound, a nice sound, the sound of a traditional shop. None of the automatic, electric door razmajazz...people were capable of either pulling, or pushing as the case may have it, a door open!

Sasoriza only walked in a few paces when she halted, a look of amazement and intigue playing across her face at the site of the shop before her. It was certainly curious. A smile accompanied her expression, unknown to her. Natural reflex.

She hadn't come in looking for anythign in paticular, on the contrary she was just browsing. She had come to the town just to see what the place had to offer, and this was the best shop by far...so far. There were items that made you think, and objects that made you wonder, and trinkets that made you wish that they were yours, anf yours alone so that you could ponder over them for all eternity to yourself.

Looking around she saw that there was just one other person in view within the shop, but she could imagine a dozen or so more lurking down between the loaded and dusty shelves looking themselves for the treasures the shop held. Sasoriza recognised the girl as one of the students in the academy...Alyss...the first student to sign up for her healing class. Not that that gave her a higher status, it was just how Sasoriza remembered her. At least she thought it was her...to find out she walked over...

Alyss turned at the familiar sound of the doors bell only to see the healing teacher walking towards her. She smiled lightly, unsure how to act around a teacher outside of the school.
''Hello, S..Sasoriza, Alyss Romano, pleasure to meet you.''
Her words came out in a slight rush and sounded more like a babble than she meant them to.

She mentally slapped herself, so much for ruddy first impressions. Hopefully she'll remember me from the sign-up list for her class at any rate.

''Are you here looking for anything in paticular Miss? Or just browsing?''

''A pleasure to meet you Alyss, and thank you for signing up for my healing class...nice to see you have an interest.''

Sasoriza laughed at her rushed words, but not in a spiteful way at all. It was quite amusing to see a girl of her own age feel worried about saying the wrong thing to her, just because she was a teacher didn't mean she was sensible all the time or gave out detentions out of school or anything. She acted like any other teenager.

''Please just call me Sasoriza, Miss is way to formal!'' She kept her tone of voice light. ''No I'm just browsing, and yourself looking for an item or browsing like myself?''

Alyss smiled back but inside felt like frowning. She had never had a tutor before who had been so carefree around her and, well, nice. Okay okay! Nice is a very bad word to use...perphaps friendly would be a better choice of simple words to use.

''Well I am looking for a certain item Mis...I mean Sasoriza. A book on elements and magic actually, and this shop seemed a good place to start looking.''

Alyss felt a bit silly because of her rushed words and red cheeks, but soon saw that Sasoriza wasn't laughing at her, but the fact that people thought she was a teacher all the time. she hadn't realised that the teacher actually looked about the same age as herself, but it was impolite to ask a womans age so Alyss knew better than to ask. Plus she was trying to be on her best, casual, behaviour in front of the teacher. Yes she may be a teenager and nice...friendly...but she sure as hellfire didn't want to be looked on badly in lessons because of the meeting.

''Would you mind keeping an eye out for the item Sasoriza? it would be most useful to me...many hands make light work as they say.'' She laughed lightly to keep the atmosphere light.

''I will most certainly help! Always happy to help.'' She smiled brightly and started looking just a little way away from Alyss, but close enough so they could still speak.
''An interesting object to be looking for, quite the able reader are you then Alyss? I can vouch that my ability to read is almost nil, I get bored with long books easily!'' She laughed slightly trying to imagine herself reading a large book and only achieving a mental image of herself asleep with a large book in her lap. Meh.

She could tell that the girl wasn't very comfortable around her, probably because she didn't want to slip up and say the wrong thing in case it affected her life at school.

''How about if I say whatever happens here doesn't go further than this shop, nothing you say or do will get back to school?''
Sasoriza looked up for a moment from her search to see Alyss's reaction at her words. She hoped that would make her feel slightly better...
