From what I can tell about the site, you have the pyramids going, the background hall going and both have a color scheme apart from the boards. So this is what I recommend to keep up the tradition:

Start new skin/template (you may make the new one your default if you like it better),
Make the entire skin/template the same as your last except with these changes:


  • All Background Colors="C3B393"
  • All Text Color="000000"
  • All Link (Active & Visited) Color="453B2A"
  • All Title Background Colors="D0BC79"
  • Table Border Color="Anything BUT the background color"


See how you like that, it should give the site a bit more of a parchment or papyrus feel to it. You don't have to make it a skin if you don't want to and you can change anything you don't like about it.

((The reason why I insist on the different table border color is because otherwise the table borders will not appear that may become a problem for some users, one because the boards will look a bit crammed together and two, when coding or quoting someone who uses the same text style and size as you, it will say Quoted by :, but then there will be no border to show you where the quote ends and the poster's begins.))
